HAIR BOTOX TREATMENT

Hair Botox by Kate
Hair Botox Treatment from £90 - £140

Hair Botox Treatment

FOR DEEP CONDITIONING NOT STRAIGHTENING

Professional Hair Botox is the ultimate way to revive your hair.  An all in one treatment, it restores dry damaged hair, improves texture and shine, hydrates and deeply conditions, treats split ends, tames frizz, and gives UV protection.

Professional Hair Botox contains luxury UV protection ingredients to prevent ageing and damage of the hair.

In addition to eliminating frizz, Hair Botox rejuvenates hair strands that were previously damaged.

It’s full of nourishing proteins, antioxidants, vitamins, conditioning oils and other hair-healthy ingredients that fill in the gaps in the hair fibres and restore it to its natural beauty.

The effects of a Hair Botox treatment will last between 3 and 5 months (same as the keratin) depending on the frequency of washing the hair. The treatment can be redone at anytime. Hair Botox is not a treatment that will change your hair type. For example, curly hair won’t become straight. But the treatment will enhance your natural hair, because it fills in the gaps in the hair strands. Hair Botox will make hair look healthier, softer, shinier, fuller and livelier. It will also look younger and split ends will disappear.

Hair Botox does not contain formaldehyde or any harmful allergens; it is therefore safe to use whilst pregnant.

Hair Botox Verses Keratin

The main difference between these two treatments is that keratin treatment is for temporary straightening and fully eliminating frizz, designed for people who like very straight hair with a significant reduction of volume.

Hair Botox is for restoring, nourishing and taming frizz, for anyone who’s hair is very damaged, over-processed, thin in structure and in need of deep restoration.  Professional Hair Botox is suitable for all hair types: Curly, Straight, Thick, Thin, Coarse, Frizzy, Fine, Lifeless, Dark, Blonde, Bleached, Grey and everything between.

Product can be washed out after 24 hours with Sulphate Free After Care products, unlike the Keratin which  must be  left on for 72 hours.

For longevity of the treatment and ultimate results Sulphate Free After Care products must be used.

The Procedure

The process can take anywhere between 1.5 and 3.5 hours depending on hair type, length, and fullness.  Before the treatment, the hair is thoroughly shampooed with a deep cleanser to open the cuticles and strip any oils and product residue.  It is then towel-dried and lightly blow dried until it's around 60-70% wet.  The treatment is applied with a silicone brush in fine sections.  The hair is then dried completely with a warm blow-dry and combed through.  The hair is then flat ironed in 1/2 inch sections with 4-6 passes of the flat iron, depending on the original hair condition.  (More damage less passes).  After 24 hours wash any residue from the hair with sulphate free products.

Aftercare and Maintenance

Once applied the product remains 'active' on your hair for the first 24 hours, before you can then wash it.  During the first 24 hours you must not wash or tie-up/style  your hair.  After 24 hours you should wash and style your hair as you would normally, but you will need to use sulphate-free (sodium chloride free) hair products such as shampoo, conditioner and hair spray, as products which contain sulphates (including hair-dyes), will strip the treatment from your hair.   This Hair Botox treatment slowly washes out of your hair over 3-5 months when following the aftercare advice.  Not following the aftercare will reverse the treatment much faster, depending on you actions.

For best results we recommend you have your hair cut prior to the treatment and any colour also applied beforehand.  This product will not alter your hair colour, or structure.  Keeping your hair in tip top shape is really all about maintenance. Deep conditioning treatments and having your ends trimmed will help to keep your hair looking fab.

A consultation is included in your appointment - The price of your treatment will need to be confirmed and agreed during your consultation depending on your hair type, length, and fullness.

Prices start at £90 for very short hair, up to £140 for thicker and/or longer hair.   It would be helpful if you could send us a picture of your hair before your appointment.  Nb.  Hair pictured is thick, coloured, naturally wavy, layered and 24 inches long: It cost this client [the maximum price] £140 for this treatment.
