Our online portal delivers remote online training that gives the opportunity for trainees to work at their own pace and view demonstrations repeatedly to master the technique. This has proved extremely popular and is the preferred option for most trainees. From the comfort of your own home, you can learn a brand-new profitable skill. You will watch in-depth video Tutorials, work through our online lessons to cover theory knowledge and practice your skills in a one-to-one webinar with our Academy Tutor.
When you are feeling confident in your new skill, you will be assessed via Video Call, or a full-treatment video uploaded to WeTransfer or Dropbox - making the course fully remote.
HOW DOES REMOTE ONLINE TRAINING WORK?
Theory Learning Online
In your own time, you will log onto the online portal to begin learning. Topics that will be covered in this first section are the theory and product knowledge along with the necessary health and safety.
Practice and Assessments Online
Once you have completed the theory online and learnt your new skill, it is time to practice, practice, practice! You will need to show evidence of your work with 3 different models (at least 1 must be a live model). You will share videos and pictures of your work with your Tutor, who can then assess every detail of your work and provide you with tips and tricks to improve. You can revisit any of the lessons throughout the course and view resources multiple times. If you have any questions, your Tutor is on hand to help.
Final Practical Assessment Online
For your 4th and final practical assessment, you must use a live model. The assessment will be made virtually from your home via video call with your Tutor, or another full-treatment video of your work. Long videos such as your final assessment, can be shared / uploaded via WeTransfer of Dropbox.
E-Certification will be awarded after the successful completion and approval of your final assessment. A hard copy may be purchased for an additional £10 including postage.
